Storming the Castle with The Princess Bride Experience

... but there's still chases, revenge, miracles and true love...
Warning: Magic & Mirrors is a kissing book.

Hey there, friends!

Tomorrow, I’m going to be hanging out with Marian Allen at The Princess Bride Experience with my very first book table (or half a book table anyway. Marian and I are sharing.) I’ll be selling and signing copies of Magic and Mirrors: A Steampunk Fairytale.

Speaking of which, it’s currently #5 on the Amazon Kindle Top 100 Best Sellers List for Steampunk! Which is sort of crazy.

If you’re in the Louisville area, are a fan of The Princess Bride, or just don’t know what else to do with your Saturday, swing on by! There will be fencing demonstrations, a Quote-Along viewing of the movie, and abbreviated improv version called “The Cliffnotes of Insanity,” along with MLTs (mutton lettuce and tomato sandwiches), “Miracle pills” from Cellar Door Chocolates, and a host of other fun distractions.

Come storm the castle with us!

I’d just like to say, you were a most worthy opponent in the trivia contest. (you left before I could give you a proper salute & handshake).

Though considering I had to end up as Prince Humperdink in the cliffnotes, I think you may have been the real winner all along. 😉

Ha! You were great! When the third place person dropped out, I was so tempted to say “So. It is down to you, and it is down to me.” LOL. Congrats on your somewhat Pyrrhic victory!

Well I was clearly no match for your skill and are no match for my brain. 😉

Really I figure getting to watch 1st place humiliated makes 2nd place all a prize on its own. If there’s a next time, I’m tempted to throw it just for the chance to watch you in the barrel. *mine is an evil laugh*

Alright. I’ve never had a nemesis. We can try it if you like. I’ll most likely kill you in a metaphorical sense.

Having been on a Once Upon a Time binge the last week (no seriously, what’s going on? THIS SHOW SHOULDN’T BE THIS GOOD!!), the way you phrased that makes me want to giggle madly and start calling you dearie. XD
