It is an interesting place to me, as it is close to my house too. They have a myspace, which I also find interesting. I had no idea that the podunk town of Greenville in that very location was a stop on the Pony Express! Who knows what other interesting historical information is buried in this little town with only a blinking yellow light??!!

Hey, at least Pal has a blinking RED light. That makes us the height of civilization, right? 😉

I’ll have to check out that myspace page.

Oh, yeah??? Well, today Georgetown officially gets it’s own REAL stoplight, with ALL THREE COLORS! woo hooo…

Is the Greenville Station located in the brick building that was originally a mill?

Where on earth are they putting a stoplight in Gtown? And yeah, I think you’ve got the right building. Two stories, brick, sort of porch out front, on 150 across from the bank.

stupidly enough, the stoplight is going on SR 64, at Henriot road (in front of Fred’s, the marathon gas station). A freakin stoplight, in the middle of a state highway!!!!

It’s probably because of all the new subdivisions going in off of Henriot and connected road on that side of 64. Otherwise, they could theoretically wait forever to get onto 64 in the morning.
