You know what they say. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the sales and downloads of almost all of my 2013 eBooks. Almost all of them.
Which is a shame because it’s a great story, with a despicable villain, a saucy henchwoman, three brave pioneer brothers and… a flying pig. It’s the only novelette-length story I’ve published so far (the rest have been short stories), so it’s an even better entertainment value. So I thought it deserved a second shot.
When I looked at the covers of all my ebooks so far, Blowhard didn’t look so good. I designed it at the recommended dimensions from Amazon, but it looks too narrow to me, personally. I’ve learned a lot about better cover design since I published it back in February.
So I designed a fresh new cover for it. I think it’s much more appealing, don’t you? The intense-looking gentleman staring at you is Elias Hamm, rebellious youngest brother of Elijah and Elliot Hamm, and a restless farm boy on the Kansas prairie. The steam-driven machine at the bottom? Well, that would be the W.O.L.F.E. (Wind Oscillating Lift Field Engine).
If you want to know more, you’re in luck! This weekend only, I’m able to make it FREE to download from Amazon. If you wait till Monday, you’ll just have to drop a dollar in the tip jar.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to writing Broken Mirror. If I can stick to my schedule, it should be ready for your reading enjoyment in late May.
See y’all, around!
